    I too substituted lentils and meatless grounds for the rice. I used a jar of pasta sauce rather than make my own and threw some green pepper in the filling. Very tasty!

    I added a “meatless ground beef” to the onion mix and it made these amazing. The quality of your pasta sauce will also obviously make or break this recipe. I’d definitely make these again.sub rice for farrow or barley and these would be keto af.

    Edible but not that great. Definitely not worth the effort needed to cook this. Flavor is bland.

    Next time I'll add more flavor to the tomato sauce. Also, added some veggie crumbles.
