Description

We’ve deconstructed stuffed peppers, so you can make this comfort food favorite in just 30 minutes. With our recipe for Unstuffed Pepper Skillet, all the traditional ingredients for stuffed peppers cook in one skillet which means easy cleanup. Simply sauté turkey sausage, bell peppers and onions then stir in cooked rice and our tomato soup. Our tomato soup gives these Unstuffed peppers a deliciously unique flavor. Melted mozzarella gives them the perfect finish. You’ll feel extra good making this Unstuffed Pepper Skillet as it provides 2 servings of veggies and is an excellent source of protein and vitamin C.

It would be better with spicy Italian sausage instead of turkey and with crushed tomatoes instead of tomato soup. I also suggest throwing in some chili powder and cumin.

I found it ok. I would definitely not use turkey sausage with it but a normal sausage next time. The flavor of the dish is flat
