  • 5 large garlic cloves (peeled and left whole)
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 whole lemons (each sliced into four thick slices)
  • 1/3 cup balsamic vinegar

    loved it! vinegar added nice touch

    Recipe was good but the balsamic took over the lemon garlic flavor. I would use half the balsamic or add lemon juice as well as the lemon slices and add garlic powder instead of just whole.
