I don’t like tomato soup (although cooked tomatoes are edible for me). But grilled cheese was on the menu tonight so I thought I’d give it a shot. Wowza! I’ve been missing out! I halved the recipe, using a can of fire roasted diced tomatoes and one cup of chicken broth. I added twice as much garlic and used part of a leek instead scallions. I also added a tad bit of cayenne and less than 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese added in the last four minutes. I’ll be making this again soon!

it was okay. little too tomato-y. i think id add some milk or cream next time.

A little thin, maybe next time I’ll use some heavy cream. Very yummy though!

After purée it it turns to greenish color. Otherwise it tastes good, and smells good 👍🏼👍🏼.
Suitable and recommended or people who are looking for something healthy for their lunch 🍴

Tirned out great! A little on the thin side. Im wondering if a dash of cream wouldve helped thicken it up to that nice creamy tomato consistency but the flavors were all there!

Great comfort food for colder nights. I sometimes add diced bell peppers to the mix, just to change things up and tone down the tomato a little bit. The original is still my favorite, though!

I’m not sure if I did something wrong but it was very tomato-y. I might have used a rotten tomato can or not put enough broth but the metric was a little confusing as I had to convert grams to something I could actually measure without a scale..
