  • 6 Tbsp. water (divided)
  • 2 1/2 Tbsp. honey
  • 2 Tbsp. brown sugar (packed, light or dark)
  • 2 tsp. fresh ginger (peeled and minced)
  • 1 1/2 tsp. minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp. rice vinegar
  • 1/4 tsp. sesame oil (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1 1/4 lb. shrimp (large, 21/25)
  • 2 Tbsp. canola oil (or olive oil)
  • 1 lb. asparagus (preferably thicker spears, woody ends trimmed, diced into 1-inch pieces)

    Great!!! Soooo delicious! Definitely will make again, adding this to my fav recipes. Make sure to use LOW SODIUM soy sauce otherwise it would be salty. Added extra ginger cuz I love the flavor and it was perfect.

    Loved this. I added mushrooms and Bean Sprouts. I would probably add a little less soy sauce. It was a little salty, but, my family loved it.

    Really good recipe. I had to use flour in place of corn starch and it still turned out really good. I also switched the asparagus out for broccoli and mushrooms. Delish
