We used turkey instead of ground beef and they turned out good and even healthier. The sauce was very thin...actually a liquid. Need to add more thickener to make it like traditional Swedish meatballs

Followed recipe using dried parsley instead of fresh. Turned out terrific. My husband, whose Swedish mother made these for Christmas, said these were almost as good as hers

Easy, nice mild flavor, but not bland. I lowered a star because the cream cheese didnt truly incorporate and the sauce didnt thicken as much as I find desirable. The size of and technique of steaming the meatballs is very good. I'll try to liquefy the cream cheese next time.

Great!! I browned the meatballs first and then added broth. I think the gravy has more flavor when you do that...

Meh. It didn't even come close to the flavor of non-skinny Swedish Meatballs. The meatballs were loose? For lack of a better word, I'm really not sure how they stayed together. The sauce didn't thicken up at all. I'm not sure why I put everything into a blender. It was not even pretty to look at. I was really disappointed. The Salisbury Steak was really good but this was just blah. Not any definitive flavor to even focus on. Just skip this and take your chop meat and make Skinnytaste Salisbury Steak. Good Luck!
