Excellent! Delicious combination of ingredients- I’ve made this salad multiple times and have only substituted the cherries for blueberries when fresh cherries aren’t in season. Definitely a detox effect with 16g of fiber. Love it.

So much better than I would have imagined! For 4 portions used 300 g kale, Used 1 lemon and half a lime, and defrosted box of cherries so had cherry juice aswll. Used safflower oil, just one spoon. Used freekeh and added feta for Husband. Massaged kale for 10 min and left in fridge for 30. Really lovely.

Great salad! I like the blend of flavors and textures. It's hardy but light.

Kind of an odd flavor combination. I didn't use fresh cherries though. I used rinsed canned cherries, so that could have been it.

I made the salad tonight with quiona and thought it was ok. Flavors were very subtle. It works as a vegan and GF choice option.

I have to agree with Shelbi E. about the calorie count. I ran this through MyFitnessPal recipe calculator -- substituted 1/2 cup of dry quinoa for faro, ADDED 1/2 cup low fat crumbled feta, substituted chopped Earthbound Power Greens (baby greens of kale, swiss chard & spinach). For 6 servings of this salad, came up with 265 or so calories per serving. MUCH more like it! And added the extra protein!
Really enjoyed this salad. And unlike most green salads don't mind the greens as left over - had for lunch next day. Both days added protein for more complete meal. About 3 oz. of leftover grilled chicken breast and next day 2-3 oz white albacore tuna. Both YUMMY!
