Yummy sandwich, paired it with taboulli and it was a yummy dressing soaker. Don’t skimp on that delish basil and tomatoes!

It was very good! I used prosciutto and fresh mozzarella with local tomatoes and fresh basil. We’re sure to have it again.

These were just alright, not a huge fan of the edam cheese, maybe with a different cheese...and maybe spinach instead of basil leaves?
But then again that'd be a whole different sandwich lol.

Here are the changes I made to the recipe
1. I eliminated the dill, choosing to serve a small pickle on the side instead
2. Instead of basil, I used a handful of spinach for each sandwich
3. I used 3 different types of cheese on each sandwich. I used provolone, cheddar and Swiss.
Really, this is not a huge change to the original recipe as printed and was delicious
Butter bread, put one type cheese on, put thin slice tomato on and salt and pepper tomato, put second type cheese on, spinach, then third type cheese and other slice buttered bread. Grill as usual . Serve with dill pickle on side Yum

Good sandwich. To others: If you leave out basil, a strong flavor in this, then you aren't rating this recipe because you DIDN'T MAKE THIS SANDWICH.

This recipe is top notch, only thing I altered was I used ketchup mayo on the inside for a super kick of flavor, Delicious!

it was really good! the only thing i changed was that i used tomato sauce instead of tomato because that’s where i put all my tomatoes into. it turned out fantastic!!

This was the best grilled cheese I have ever made.. HANDS DOWN! I used garlic butter instead of regular butter.

Loved this! Adding the herbs to the butter was such a great idea, I'll definitely be using this trick for all of my grilled cheese sandwiches.
