Description
A whole chicken roasted low and slow in your oven produces a tender, fall-off-the-bone bird that is worlds better than any grocery store rotisserie chicken. The recipe is a Yummly original created by Sara Mellas.

Best chicken we have ever had! Putting in my favorites file. So tender and juicy with a crisp skin and just the perfect amount of seasoning. Followed the recipe exactly and cooked for 2 and 3/4 hours at 300 degrees. We let it rest for 10 minutes and dug in!!!

I absolutely love LOVE this recipe. So super simple, delish, and easy, but looks chef professional and beautiful on the plate. I use smoked paprika, and a slow cooker. To finish; I place in the oven to crisp up and serve. This is a wonderful guest dish. In the SC, it cooks while you visit + about 15 minutes for final prep. Enjoy!

Love the step by step! Thinking my husband can even pull this off! I followed recipe and cooking time to a T and it came our perfect - crisp skin and moist inside. Only thing is I stuffed the chicken before trussing its legs up.
