After I cut the chicken I rubbed it in the creole seasoning and then added extra to the entire recipe. Added cornstarch at the end to thicken. Could have cooked longer to soften the veggies more.

This recipe came out great. I used the turey sausage instead and I didn't have tomatoe paste so I didn't use any. I didn't notice a differen.
It's got a kick to it. My husband enjoyed it but he would prefer less spicy so next time I will cut the Cajun seasoning in half.
I will make it again.

It was a bit bland as is but added some garlic, creole seasoning with a few other spices and it was awesome!

We did a NOLA themed dinner and this was the star of the show. Layers of flavors, a nice heat and super easy to make.

It was pretty good, but not as good as I’d hoped. I used more spice, as others suggested, and while there was a pleasant heat to it, it was missing something.

It’s was delicious. Family loved it. Added some mushroom and used spicy deer sausage.

Made this just as directed and it tasted great, made two cups of jasmine rice in the rice cooker and tasted better each time we ate it. Good stuff!!!

This is definitely going to be a staple in our house. We don’t have too many Cajun French restaurants in our area but when I travel to New Hope PA we always go to Marcia Brown which bases their cuisine Cajun French. This dish was definitely comparable to one of their dishes and it was super easy to prepare. I think the flavors marry real well in the slow cooker. I opted for the faster way and cooked it on high for 4 hours then added the shrimp for 15 minutes. It came out absolutely perfect!

So so good! Loved serving it in bowls over rice. That way everyone could choose how much rice they wanted; I like it more soupy! I didn't have cajun seasoning so I used Tony's Creole seasoning.

Made this and it came out awesome! Add more spice because we like it hot. This was amazing

Used fresh Ahi instead of shrimp, and Impossible meat sausage instead of andouille. This is wonderful. I doubled the recipe and we have lots of leftovers. Serve over rice. The whole house smells good while this is cooking.

Made this and it turned out very delicious!!! I did add a little bit more spices to it since we like it a little more spicy. Overall, there was perfect and easy to make.

was okay but cajun is USA acquired taste. Being an Aussie have not acquired taste yet.
