The big missing component is the seasoned flour on the chicken and then frying them. In this recipe, the chicken is basically poached in the Marsala. It’s not terrible but nowhere as good as the real thing. Wouldn’t make again.

Turned out fantastic! Chicken was tender and moist and had great flavor. Used chicken broth instead of wine and it turned out fine.
