It turned out just ok. I'm not crazy about using tomato sauce; I think I'll stick with using tomato paste. I would also use less onion and add some sweet peppers.

Ok. These were a little too sweet for my family’s taste. If I use this recipe again, I will cut way down on the brown sugar.

I adjusted it a little. I pretty much doubled the recipe. I added 1 small can of tomato paste instead of using tomato sauce. I sauteed about 4 cloves of minced garlic at the end of sauteing the onion. Also added garlic powder, cumin, Italian seasoning, cayenne pepper seasoning, and Worcestershire sauce. Didn't measure the mustered just squirted it around the pan about 3 times around.

Very delicious!😋
Quick prep time. I reduced the brown sugar by 1 tablespoon and added a can of seasoned crushed tomatoes. Turned out perfect!

My brother and I made this recipe for a family dinner. Turned out wonderful!

I can’t eat regular mustard so I substituted 1 dash of ground mustard with approximately 1 ounce of rice vinegar. We love it! Homemade sloppy Joe’s :) bc I can’t eat canned and really would prefer not to anyway.

Easy to make and very tasty. We did one substitution to use tomato paste but it turned out very well

Nice quick meal. Used fresh tomatoes chopped but followed the recipe. Very nice flavor.

we always enjoy this recipe. have had to substitute katsup for tomato paste with success a couple times. have added bell peppers before and worsteshire sauce. its quite versatile.

Flavour was good. Used 2 tbsp brown sugar, some worcestershire sauce and about 2 tsp of ground mustard.

Nice flavour, too sweet for me but solved it with more spices (Penzey's Beef Roast) and turned out great. Not quite my thing still.

I made a double portion, used a little less sugar (5 tbsps) and added a tsp of molasses for a deeper flavor. It turned out great.

Delicious! Added some garlic powder as well. Bf mentioned it wasn’t tangy enough for his taste and will try adding a little tomato paste in there to make it tangier next time.

My fiancé is in love with this recipe and so am I. So easy to make and the leftovers were great too!

These were great! Everyone loved them, even the picky eaters. They gobbled them down. The only change I made was to add some garlic powder. Next time, I'll double the recipe so everyone can have seconds. :-)
