    Great 😃 Thx Yes it was yummy and yes I modified because the frozen pie shell would not fold over so I put a crumble on top and yes I will try again.

    Did not turn out good at all. The core and peelings were liquified added sugar, cinnamon and cream of tartar. My dough did not cover my apples at all in a 9 inch springform pan.

    It doesn’t look like the crust in the picture but it tastes delicious! I didn’t add sugar on the top so maybe that’s why. I used a different recipe for the filling because i like the filling to have sauce in it not just apples.

    Made it for thanksgiving two years in a row. The recipe is easy and the tart is gorgeous. I like to jazz it up with a sprinkling of cinnamon sugar right before putting it in the oven. It is easy to double as well, just make sure to refrigerate the dough in two disks!
