My husband is very picky with food, he loved this recipe. I definitely will make many times, I added mushrooms also.

It was good, put it over spaghettini. Sauce bit thin so next time I’ll add more cornstarch otherwise it’s a very quick dinner, a good keeper!

This is a decent starter recipe! I did not read the reviews before I made this, but I was going to say…use half the water or even less I added a bit more garlic and ginger, because I like the taste of those. So, definitely a good basic recipe that leaves a lot of wiggle room for making it to you/your family’s taste with a few tweaks.
Isn’t that what makes cooking FUN!?
Yum!!

I only had half amt of shrimp needed for recipe so cut all ingredients in half. Instead of ketchup I used half hoisen half Sriracha sauce - husband likes heat. After cooking shrimp I put them to side dish until vegs were about a minute away from being firm/tender cooked. Then added shrimp for last minute to rewarm. Used leftover rice. Very good recipe with right amt of vegs and sauce. will make again. Thanks for recipe.

Boyfriend rated 5 bags of popcorn and 3 sodas. Served with noodles and made all the edits with hoisen sauce, half water, extra crushed pepper, onion and green peppers. Could probably have gone with no water.

Tasty, healthy and comes together quickly. I doubled the crushed red pepper to kick up the spice. I would make this again.

Substituted hoisin for ketchup, as per another review. Used only 1/2 cup water, per the suggestion of another review. It was ok. Definitely agree no more than 1/2 cup water. Honestly, I thought it made a very saucy stir fry. If you like a less saucy stir fry, you could definitely get away with using only half of the sauce recipe. Used a slotted spoon when serving to get some of the sauce drained off, which is why you don’t see a pool of sauce in the photo. Served with jasmine rice. Threw in some mushrooms I had on hand for a bit more veg.

I’ll be making this one again! I used less ketchup as recommended and added more garlic. Also used less water because I used frozen shrimp and broccoli which added a fair bit of liquid. I stirred in cooked rice vermicelli and topped with sesame seeds and chopped peanuts and my whole family loved it.

Glad I read the reviews. Used less water and replaced ketchup with Hoisan sauce. Used broccoli, onions and corn. Added a little Coleman's mustard for a bit of a kick. Def make again!

It was ok. I swapped the shrimp for chicken breast. Needs more spice, so I ended up adding some chicken bouillon and more soy sauce.

This was awesome with a few changes! I replaced ketchup with hoisin sauce and added sriracha; also cut water to 1/2 cup. We didn’t have broccoli, so used zucchini and added onion. Will definitely make again and will use more veggies :-)

I halved the water (referring the first review), swapped ketchup with Sriacha, and added more cornstarch. It started smelling great halfway through and tasted even better!

Definitely too much water in the recipe, maybe too little cornstarch too. Did a double serving of the above recipe yesterday, it was really tasty still, but reducing the sauce to a thicker consistency slightly ruined the veggies and those shrimps. Next time I'll go for 1/2 cup water.
Also it's not on the ingredient list, and not mentioned in the directions, but obviously on the picture - so don't forget the sesame seeds when serving! A must have.
