Delicious! Super simple instructions. I added extra carrots, omitted the mushrooms. I used 2 russet potatoes and one sweet potato for the topping, which I mashed with a potato ricer. I omitted the egg but added sour cream with a bit of the potato water - super creamy. It was a hit! I baked it in a cast iron pan.

Very good. I used smoked sweet paprika insted of the regular sweet paprika, and bullion cube disolved in water, insread if stock because that is all I had. The rest I made exactly as it said. I baked it for about 30 minutes (recipe doesn’t say for how long to cook).

Creamy potatoes, hamburger mixture full of flavor! Easy to make with ingredients on hand

I wasn’t sure how long to put it in the oven for. I wouldn’t recommend this to a new cook; however, it turned out pretty good!

Turned out great! I made the mashed potatoes ahead of time and did not put egg in it but it still turned out delicious :)

Good, but not quite amazing.
I ended up doing the following flavor modifications:
(-) Beef broth (I was out of stock)
(+) Seasoning All Salt (plenty)
I would exchange the sour cream for whipping cream when making potatoes. Although sour cream is a good addition for just plain potatoes it is not a good fit here.
It was good, but I will be trying other recipes before considering 5 stars.

This not Shepard's Pie it is made with Lamb only . This is Cottage Pie made with beef. Irish use Lamb English use beef. Still excellent recipe!

It turned out very good. I just used leftover mashed potatoes, and we didn’t have mushrooms. I will make this again.

Was pretty good, meat/gravy mixture just seem's like it needs something extra to give it a "Flavor Town" taste! Some Red Wine maybe???

It was delicious! I added additional spices to give it more flavor but this recipe is a traditional beef Shepard’s pie and it is perfect!

amazing. i did just use Shepard's pie spice mix out of simplicity and added more butter and cream to the mashed potatoes but this is delicious

I made this last week and we all loved this comfort dish. I did substitute a vegetable broth for the beef broth because the store was out of beef broth. I also added carrots. Easy to make and good flavors! I will definitely make this recipe again!

Very good!! Made it exactly as per the instructions except I sudstituted the peas for corn kernels because my partner dislikes peas. Covered half of it with mashed potatoes and the the other for myself with mashed red potatoes because they don’t spike my sugar level. I will make it again.

If it's her own recipe she can spell it however she likes and put in ingredients of her own choice. I think some of the negative comments come from reviewers that have their heads up where the sun doesn't shine.
