Turned out great. Didn’t stick to my parchment covered baking sheet at all. Maybe the amount of butter on it matters or good parchment helped. I will probably add a bit more spices.
Will make it this way for now on.
Topped with chopped apples heated in frying pan with some cinnamon until soft, added syrup to apples. Added some chopped roasted walnuts (roasted near end of baking french toast).

Would definitely make it again! I made it on the stovetop instead of the oven and it was perfect! I didn't add as much sugar as instructed but it still had enough sweetness to it.

turned out great! had to bake for longer than suggested because the bread was still soggy, but will definitely make it again

It tasted lovely. The edges were crunchy but the centre was soft, not sure if that's how it's supposed to be.

Terrible, don't put the butter over it and then the batter. It just got stuck to the paper and was ruined, couldn't even eat it. It needs better instructions.

Good. i used regular bread and it turned out good. I will be making it this way from now on.

Buttering the bread before dipping in the egg mixture seems counter intuitive but I tried. As expected, the bread stuck to the parchment paper. If the amount of butter is doubled, it solved the problem. Nice flavor

It was delicious, but also a bit crunchier than usual. However, the buttering of the bread before dipping in the egg mixture is a very nice touch!

Really good recipe. I did have to cook the french toast for longer than the recipe said. But that was probably because my oven temp runs low. & the fact that i added a 1/4 of a cup of vanilla pudding. I will definitely be making this again.
