These were delectable! I'll keep this recipe around. The longer the balls sit the better the texture and flavor.

Great. Think i will add the nuts at the end next time. Got a little to finely chopped.

Changed up a bit. Substituted coconut rum and finely chopped some dried pineapples and dried bananas and added to other dry ingredients. Once completed, rolled in finely chopped coconut. Obviously, had that tropical drink flavor. Went over great.

I use this recipe, except sub in bourbon for the rum. Very tasty - and easy. Make them the day after Thanksgiving and store in a cool, dark place to let the bourbon "ferment" until Christmas.

I've been making these for years but use mini chocolate graham crackers and add 6 oz of melted bittersweet chocolate to the mix instead of cocoa. These are good cookies to make ahead. They freeze well and the longer they freeze, the more predominant the rum flavor becomes.

They turned out soooo great, quick and easy just like the recipe said. Might make more tomorrow!

Amazing! Used gluten free wafers on one batch and added more pecans, because gluten free wafers are expensive! Added a little more corn syrup and I used bourbon instead! Tossed in a mix of cocoa, wafers and pecans. Will make again and again for sure!

Awesomely! I immediately made two more batches, since people ate these right up! I used a good brand of spiced rum. I also used 1/2 vanilla wafers and 1/2 shortbread with the rest of the batches... great taste!

The Rum Balls were delicious. I rolled some in just powdered sugar, some in a half cocoa powder and powdered sugar and added cinnamon to the half and half mixture and rolled the rest in that mixture. Surprise several friends like the cinnamon ones the best!!

Haven't made yet, but I have a very similar recipe that doesn't use corn syrup but does have melted butter and a little honey. This may address the gooey factor.

Good. A little too gooey but that is likely operator error. I’ll eat a few more and reevaluate....

These turned out excellent! I had a great time making them as well. It was a bit of a process but the outcome was so worth it!
