I was scrolling for a quick and easy quiche to make with the ingredients I had on hand (frozen pie crust, Swiss cheese, etc) and this dis not disappoint! I’m a great one for altering recipes according to what I have on hand and luckily, this one adjusted beautifully. I did use fresh grated Swiss cheese (more than 3/4C because more is better!) and sautéed up the finely hand-chopped onions, 1/2 a bell pepper, 4 strips of cooked & crumbled thick bacon & tossed in a few leftover cooked Brocolli flourettes. I wasn’t messin with egg yolks and egg whites or mixing milk & cream so i just used 5 whole eggs and 1 1/2c of half & half. I used Lawry’s seasoning salt, garlic powder, pepper & nutmeg (that is a must!) and baked for a little over 40 mins cuz that crust was FULL! Let it rest and man-o-man, it was delicious!!! I will make this in various forms again and again!

I used this recipe as a base for Easter lunch. I used the bacon, onions, cheese, spices and wet ingredients as directed. I then added a package of baby portobello mushrooms, red bell pepper and a package of fresh spinach. I sautéed the olive oil, onions, chopped bell pepper and added the spinach in portions...adding more as the spinach cooked down. I drained the vegetables after cooking in a colander. Then added them to a uncooked store bought pie crust. It took about 10 minutes longer to bake, but it turned out wonderfully and everyone loved it. I will definitely make this again!

It's delicious! So easy to make. I added some green peppers to have more veggies and followed the rest of the recipe. Also used a frozen crust from the supermarket. It turned out amazing. So delicious as a snack at night with a glass of wine or with a big salad as a lunch meal. Also very quick and easy to make. Will repeat :-)

I modified mine with vegetarian sausage and an almond flour crust. Egg filling cook time was accurate, the texture of the quiche was pleasing.

Excellent! I removed the bacon and added about 3 tbsp of butter to the onion & garlic I pan fried, to replace the yummy fat. Turned out amazing!

This turned out beautiful and delicious! A couple of things... I didn’t follow their directions on the pie crust. I cooked the refrigerated store bought crust for about 10 minutes, then filled with the rest of the ingredients. Also... 12 oz of bacon is a lot!! My entire bag of precooked bacon (from sam’s!!) is 9.5 oz and has approximately 72 slices. So I just used 16 slices and it worked great. Will definitely be making again! Also makes great leftovers
