    Very simple but good recipe! I added a bit to it, like more cheese, garlic, salt, pepper, and some sour cream but I'm sure it would have tasted good as-is. I may have misunderstood what "red peppers" to add but I added crushed, dried red peppers. I love spicy food but I felt it tasted a bit out of place so I do not think I would add it again.

    I added some extra seasoning like garlic and chives. I also couldn't find cream of onion so I used cream of celery. My family loved it! Will definitely make again.

    I’m a beginner cook and had a really fun time making this meal. The recipe was easy to follow and it turned out great. I added a tad too much seasoning for my liking but overall the soup was perfect for a cold day.

    This soup is so easy to put together. It tastes a whole lot better than I anticipated because of the simplicity of it. To thicken more, I added about 2 tablespoons of sour cream, as an another reviewer suggested. Great soup to have when you need something quick.

    Made it just as directed, and my grandbabies say it is the best soup they have ever eaten. I made it again and had to make them a whole pot to take home with them. It is very, very good and comforting.

    It smells and tastes wonderful. Best potato soup I’ve ever had. Instead of Cream of Onion soup, I used Cream of Mushroom soup, personal preference, and I cooked 5-6 strips of bacon and crumbled up for more taste. I also added a heaping wooden spoon of sour cream for more texture. Topped it off with shredded cheese and chives and I have to say it has turned out to be a favorite!! Definitely a Must Try for Potato Soup lovers around the world :-)

    Cooked my own bacon and added a tablespoon or so of the bacon grease because, well, bacon makes the world go round. Really adds some depth to the soup.

    very delicious recipe and super easy to make! I used 2 cans of cream of chicken and 1 creamy cheddar. Red pepper adds nice kick to otherwise very boring soup in my opinion. I also used real bacon instead of bacon bits and added it while cooking potatoes and onion in stock to bring more bacon flavor to the soup. Overall very tasty!

    Very very yummy, I didn’t use bacon or the red pepper and I substituted with creamy of mushroom, cream of cheddar cheese and cream of chicken 👌🏾🙌🏾✅

    I will make it again, but I think I'll leave out the red pepper. It's a little spicy. Overall it is good.

    This was amazing. I used cream of potato instead of cream of onion. Added some broccoli and omg it is delicious!!! This is certainly added to the winter dinner rotation

    Just a little spicy but easy to make , didn’t have a medium onion n i replaces it w cilantro and onion powder still delicious 👌🏽

    Super easy to throw together.. I didn't have all of the creamed soups available so I substituted with what I had, which was cream of chicken, cream of celery and cream of mushroom. I also added so diced celery along with my onions and potatoes. since I didn't have the cream of cheese soup i added about a cup of Shredded Mild Cheddar cheese and left it melt down in the pot. It turned out delicious... If i would've had carrots i would've added some of them as well. The Cream of Mushroom just seemed to add more flavor to it. will definitely make this again in the future!!
