Excellent and easy for first-timer making crab cakes! Family loved them! added
Some fresh thyme from garden and went light on mayo will definitely bust this out again for summer cookouts!

title did not lie. they are perfect. I used club crackers vs. saltines and two teaspons of old bay. Next time I think I will use one teaspoon of old bay and 1 teaspoon of celery salt. That is due to my taste buds but the base of the recipe is perfection

Amazing did use ritz crackers instead of saltine and a handful of Panko . Whip eggs made a big difference amazing texture to cook and flip

Have made a number of different recipes on Yummly, and this is probably my favorite. It's simple and classic, and that's probably why it's so delicious. I used Ritz vs. Saltines for a little twist.

First time making my own crab cakes - turned out Great! Very easy and precise directions!

These turned out amazing , I used fresh crab to make them and family loved them ! I substituted regular mustard in place of Dijon mustard

I made these tonite. Love how they browned up. The only changes I made was white pepper instead of black and after making the patties I laid them in panko crumbs. The mixture seemed a little too moist at first but they turned out excellent. It turned out that they needed 5 minutes per side. They were a little salty, perhaps the cracker I used was too seasoned. I also needed to use the claw meat this time since the price of the lump went from $17 to $24 in 2 years. They still were tasty!

It was the perfect crab cake! Great flavor! Will make this again... we paired it with a chipotle mayo it was awesome
