    This is the best and easiest apple pie that I have ever made , delicious. I also added 2/3 cup of blueberries. So easy to make.👏👏

    It turned out really well I just wish the apples weren’t so much like apple sauce. Next time I’ll probably cook It for less time. But for my first time it turned out amazing!

    Good basic recipe. Grandkids like to carve initials into top crust. I like to “paint” top with an egg yolk mixed with 1/2 tsp cream because it looks better and... my mother did. Can be frozen before baking and placed in oven right from freezer and baked at 325 for 1 1/2 hours. Add additional time at higher temp if needed to “brown “.
