Turned out better than expected! I always add more garlic, followed someone's recommendation to use Costco's basil pesto, and also threw in about a cup and a half of left-over bruschetta mix (this made it divine) I also used a can of pre-cut tomatoes and didn't add the extra cup of water.

Very good. Changed a few things per some of the reviews. Used two & half cups of vegetable broth and half cup of heavy cream. Also used crushed tomatoes as that was what happened to be in the pantry. Served with grilled ham and cheese sandwiches. Made for a pretty tasty meal.

It was super delicious, instead of water I added half cup of heavy cream and an extra half cup of broth.

It's a wonderful, tasty and easy to make soup. I add rice to thicken it and make it more of a meal.

It turned out great! I used dried basil (because I didn’t have any fresh on hand) and added some oregano, an extra clove of garlic & I omitted the cup of water. It’s super thin without it. It was delicious and super simple to make!

I never thought I would prefer a soup made from canned tomatoes more than from fresh but this is so quick and delicious that it bacame my go-to soup. I omit the extra cup of water, though. I find the consistency to be perfect with just the two cups of broth and the juice from the can (I usually use diced tomatoes, not sure if they have more liquid in the can compared to whole peeled tomatoes). I'll make it again tonight and I can't wait =)

Good but thin. Instead of water I will use mik or 1/2 & 1/2 next time. I used 3 garlic cloves and added salt and pepper

Nice kick added a tablespoon on half and half to give it a creamier feel very good for not having any dairy products (before additions of course).

it was easy and delicious! I loved it but I thought it it was sort of too tomatoey.. so i added a pinch of baking soda to make it less acidic. It came out wonderfully. Also I added tiny cream/milk and parmesan cheese! Yummy!

Excellent and so easy! I used two cans of tomato’s (one crushed and one whole) veggie better than bouillon, white pepper, roasted red peppers and voila it was yummy!

Great recipe!! I made it tonight with the roasted red pepper, and threw in a couple of parmesan rinds I had on hand for soups. Seriously, divine. Served with a simple grilled cheese sandwich, this was a throwback to my childhood, with a very adult twist!!

Fantastic as written, however my husband suggested more garlic for the next time I make it.

Nice flavor but way too much liquid! Omitted the water and only used the vegetable broth

I doubled the recipe... Substituted about 7 oz of Basil Pesto for the basil and added more garlic (since we're all garlic lovers here), then followed the rest of the recipe as stated. It was really good, a keeper! Served it along with homemade cheese crackers. Great meal for our first cool night of autumn.

I have made this a few times now and the flavor is just phenomenal. I add a little more garlic than the recipe calls for...I just love garlic. Lol. Super good, super fresh , and super awesome to eat! 😊
