This was my first time making cranberry sauce, and this is a delicious recipe! It takes little effort to make and is well worth it. I added a tiny amount of ginger and will do that again. I accidentally put the zest in at the same time as the orange juice but I didn’t detect any bitterness at all.

I just made this as a trial run for Thanksgiving, as I lost my old recipe, and can I say this is divine. Now, I did sprinkle in a tad of ginger and just a wee bit of clove, but just a bit. Saving a 1/2 a cup until just after cooking is a fabulous idea, as well. Thank you. Just found my new recipe.
