Wonderful! I substituted cacao powder for cocoa powder. It’s a deeper, richer flavor and less processed. It was a huge hit!! Even a guest who doesn’t generally care for chocolate, was impressed.

I followed the recipe exactly and…Wow! Served if for my son’s birthday last night and it’s GONE! Will be making cupcakes today so I get a chance to have some!

Love this recipe!! Comes together so easy and quickly. Cake is super moist, but not too soft. Very easy to layer the cake. Didn’t try the chocolate topping. Used a whipped frosting instead with a mixed berry compote. Next time, gonna try it with the chocolate topping!
