You should mix the dry ingredients separately and thoroughly then mix them into the wet ingredients in the mug. Mix well and it will be soooo yummy

It was very good considering it is a mug cake, but i would recommend putting a bit extra flour in so it isn’t as runny

So good! I usually microwave it for 5-15 more seconds just so it isn’t extremely wet, but it is good either way. Great flavor and extremely sweet

Tasty! I used 3 tbsp sugar and 1 1/2 tbsp cocoa, substituted the vanilla with honey and used ground black pepper instead of salt. I also put it in the microwave for 60 seconds. Will be using this again.

Added my own spin by replacing one of the 1/2tbs butter with coconut oil and one of the tbsp water with milk and it turned out great!! Microwaved for 1min

it turned out reeeally good 🥺
even though the dough didn't raise, it was amazing
replaced flour with semolina and i don't really know anything about the taste of the original version but my mug cake was super yummy

There is way too much sugar. I’d recommend putting a tablespoon or two less. It’s gross that there’s so much sugar in this. I had some doubts while mixing the ingredients, but after making it, I realized that it was too much.

tasted gross when i used regular sugar but in my opinion maple syrup instead of sugar tastes better!

Chewy, chocolaty and enough to satisfy your somewhat-frequent random chocolate cravings. I just changed my microwave oven, and I still get that... ‘egg-y microwave’ smell whenever I made these microwave cake recipes. But this one has no egg, and it still has that smell! Oh well, this is now my to-go recipe; just have to ignore the smell. Always added a scoop (and another one after another) of vanilla ice-cream to make it even better.

PERFECT!!! Just what I was looking for instead of microwaving it for 40 seconds I did a minute and 5 so it was still fudge.
