Very delicious! Browned the rice and added slightly more butter. Added garlic powder instead of garlic salt.

The rice needs to be browned in a skillit with a bit of oil or butter before cooking, it makes for a much more authentic mexican rice flavor.

I tweaked this recipe to suit my personal tastes. I used 2 T of butter, a pinch of salt, 1/4 t of cumin, 1/4 t garlic powder. Followed the other ingredients as stated. Fantastic recipe. Will always add this rice when having Mexican dishes. So easy, flavorful. Kids loved it.

Too salty and long grain rice does not cook in 25 minutes. Garlic salt and picante combo is too much. If you are going to try this cut back on garlic salt.

This recipe was delicious. It was very easy to prepare. I doubled the amount of salsa and everyone loved it. I will definitely make this again!

Very good, fast & fast. Second time in two weeks, had with sour cream chicken enchiladas and refried beans. And cold Corona... life’s good

It was ok. I used Goya salsa de tomate con cebolla ajo y cilantro, because I couldn’t find ready made salsa with out bits of onions, tomatoes, etc.
I only 1 cup of long grain rice with the rest of the ingredients. It came out alright nothing like the restaurant kind.

O-mazing!!! I was extremely nervous, because I've never made Mexican Rice before, but in the end, there was absolutely NOTHING to worry about! Another one for the books!!!

Awesome. Because this depends on quality of salsa for the taste I would consider a salty salsa like herdez . This was great!

Got so many compliments, and everyone had seconds. Super easy, used extra garlic, & powder not salt.
