I forgot to add the zest so I sprinkled it on top; when they came out, some of it actually sunk in and some were on top of the muffin. Perfect lemon muffins

Excellent recipe. Based on the previous reviews, I doubled the zest and lemon juice, cut the sugar by a quarter, and it was one of the best muffins I have ever had!

Delicious! I added a little extra bit of lemon extract, and I got the perfect amount of lemon flavor in the muffins. Totally recommend!

Love this recipe. Baked it this morning. Very moist. I decreased the sugar to 1/2 cup and I used self rising flour, it was awesome. I also made cream cheese icing for the top. It’s a 10 👌😃 thanks

United States Lemon juice is left off the ingred. list in the "first" recipe above. I was wondering how they could be lemon muffins without lemon juice. Luckily when I went to the print format lemon juice was included. You might want to correct that.
Lots of lemons right now so will make them soon. Yum. Hard to rate since I haven't made them yet so I will give it 3 stars.

I made this with with only 3/4 cup of sugar and 1 cup of self raising flour and baked it as a cake. It was perfect! Very light but not too crumbly and just enough lemon flavour to notice it was there. I'd recommend using Unsweetened yogurt or it might be too sweet. I'll Definitely be baking this again

Sweet, tangy and moist. I didn’t have enough zest and only 2 large eggs, so I used about a tsp of zest and the juice from one lemon. Turned out great. I sprinkled with powdered sugar when I took them out of the oven. Kids loved them too.

Very good. Easy. Great for breakfast. I threw a little lemon juice from the Zested lemon and it was still awesome

Really good:) I'm going to make it again and again..its yummy..instead of frosting it I sprinkle chocolate and white chocolate chips on top...
