We really enjoyed this, a good way to stretch our turkey. I did some of the modifications noted from others.

This is a good base recipe to build upon. I used leftover gravy and a can of cream of celery instead of stock. I made two pies, one with peas and carrots and one with broccoli. This will be a new must after thanksgiving!

Amazing flavour and such a great way to use up leftovers. Instead of pastry I used Pillsbury Biscuits on top. I also used our leftover turkey gravy, instead of chicken broth. New family favourite!

Made this (minus the turkey) and it turned out great! I used a little less flour and seasoned to my liking, but this recipe served as a great starting point

Delicious with subtle layers of herby flavor. I used crescent roll dough for the crust & it came out a beautiful golden brown color. Will definitely make again.

Easy and so yummy! I added red pepper and mushrooms to it. Amazing

Very flavorful! More broth-y than I anticipated but it was still really good. Michael says it was better than my “better than Nanna’s” chicken pot pie.

I used this as a jumping off point. I don't use the celery. I use many more veggies, and make a double batch. I leave out the basil and add about a teaspoon of oregano and a teaspoon of sage to double batch, and a lot less broth. Although, if you already added the liquid and need to thicken it up, like I did the first time, you can shake up several tablespoons of flour with warm (not hot) water in a mason jar, until it is smooth and thick. Add this as needed (beyond the original flour called for), to thicken up. I freeze a bunch of it for later.
