It turned out wonderfully! Honestly, I was a little skeptical that the flavor would be there but it was SO flavorful, it was prefect!

Everyone loved it, even my picky husband! I did add a little more seasoning to the gravy and I found that for 7 I needed to tweak it a bit to ensure flavor. Also, I added worchestershire sauce and ginger to the gravy.

I made this last night and it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!! I added a little bit of Worcestershire sauce to the roux (only a tsp) and sauteed the veggies in butter. Family loved it!!

It was delicious. Definitely will make again. I did everything like it was posted. 😋😋. Kids had seconds. Thats how I know. I didnt give 5 stars because I been to Jamaica and this was just a good chicken meal.

Delish! I love making different dishes, always mixing it up. The taste is similar to Cajun food. The only change I did was to thicken the sauce a little after cooking with cornstarch.

According to my jamaican husband this is an authentic recipe that tastes like home. The only change I made was to double the gravy recipe and use 1/2 cup hot water when adding the chicken so that the gravy is a little thicker at the end. We like to serve this with a side of rice and peas and a salad.

The best!! I didn't have pepper sauce but hot sauce was just as good! I've made this many times even without all of the ingredients it's still a great dish!!

Always trust in this lady and her recipes. I did not add sugar because I had what Jamaican call browning, and the ketchup was sweet enough. I used scotch bonnet pepper instead of pepper sauce and used about half the water (just keep the pot closed and it will make its own gravy...no peaking)

It tasted like Brown stew chicken I had previously but had to purchase from a restaurant. I was hoping my sauce would thicken a little more but I have a fix for that when I prepare it again. Thanks for recipe!

This dish was delicious but I did add a stock cube, just to hide it AV extra boost :) I would definitely make it again
