This recipe was very similar to the marinated mushrooms I used to buy from my local deli when I lived in NY.
I followed the recipe exactly as written and the results were fabulous for mushroom lovers. They taste even better the next day!! I do recommend using an Italian dressing with no sugar (such as Ken's) if you don't care for a hint of "sweet" that is found in some Italian dressings.

The recipe was easy to follow however I just wasnt a big fan of the italian dressing with it. it made it taste a little too sweet for me.

Much better than i thought it would be! A good mushroom dish if you don’t LOVE mushrooms. And very simple to make!

I like the recipe for minimal ingredients, ease of prep and taste of the dish. That is what my review is based on. If I had to rate the way the ingredients are listed and the instructions, I would have given it 1 star. First a medium onion equals about 2 cups. I used half of a large onion so I had a healthy 2 cups. No problem since I like onions, but a little specificity would have been appreciated. Finally, I have no idea what this "secret sauce" they are referring to. Even the responses to questions about it are cryptic. There is a picture of a yellow sauce on the page. Looks like something whipped with flour. Who knows? Less cute conversation or at least provide the info and then be as chatty as you like. What ever the secret is, I didn't need it. Although it would have been nice to try.

Easy dish; added pasta and Parmesan to serve as a main dish; definitely better cold and served as a side dish

Very simple to make and delicious! We will definitely make this again! I used lite Italian dressing and sprinkled some Italian seasoning on as well.

This recipe makes a delightful cold side dish and is the perfect accompaniment to roasted or baked meats, chicken or fish. It is also appealing as an appetizer, served with bread, cheeses and, of course, a glass of wine.

I thought it tasted good. Very easy to make. One cup of Italian dressing might be a bit to much though.

Italian dressing was too much. Good idea but perhaps one tablespoon instead of whole cup. Came out too soupy, salty and tart. Added cream cheese and ricotta to balance out and was good after.

I added some apple smoked chicken sausage. I think next time I’ll half the Italian dressing and add a little more olive oil. It was a bit strong on the Italian but still good

It was good but it had a very strong flavor and a LOT of leftover sauce in the pan that made it a bit runny.

Easy to make. I added cream cheese as we found it a bit sour with the dressing alone.

I made it with extra virgin olive oil instead of the dressing and put it on top of chicken alfredo that i seasoned with lemon pepper👌

Inlove mushrooms and this was perfect. I took out the italian dressing and added olive oil instead. I would also add anothe red bell pepper there wasn't enough for me.

This recipe turned out great! I added tofu to make it more filling and it was wonderful. I will definitely be using this recipe again!
