Directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Place a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Add the beef to the pan and cook, breaking it up with a wooden spoon, until it is no longer pink. Drain the excess fat with a metal strainer or slotted spoon, and return beef to skillet.
- Add the pasta sauce to the beef. Bring the mixture to a boil, then remove from heat.

Husband liked this a bunch! Said it’s a welcome comfort food I added onions to the ground beef and used Italian seasoning, & garlic powder in lieu of only basil I added a tablespoon of tomato paste to my tomato sauce as a thickener. Used two cans off crescent rolls too.
Will add peas or leftover roasted potatoes next time. Versatile easy dish!

Really good! Made some mods- added onion when browning the beef as well as onion powder, garlic salt, pepper, and intalian seasoning.
Used 9 pieces of crecsent rolls. On the top I melted butter, garlic powder, parsley and basil on the rolls and then put cheese on top

I only needed 1 pkg of crescent roll dough when using an 8” square pan. Added a small splash of red wine and milk to meat mixture.

Really enjoyed this. Served it with some green beans for a nice supper. Easy to fix and easy to pack the leftovers.

Yummy Yummy! Great quick, simple weeknight recipe. I made just a couple tweeks-added onion & garlic to the hamburger and used 2 packages of crescent rolls. I love it & added it to my recipe book! Our family calls it the ‘Italian Pot Pie’. I think that the pasta sauce you use could make a huge difference in how it turns out. Definitely wouldn’t want to use a watery sauce. My favorite is Arrabbiata. Thank you Thank you!

It was easy to make I added onions to the recipe the bottom part of the crust was soggy

It turned out really good, but it’s simple as is and doesn’t burst with amazing flavors…but you could definitely add extras to enhance the base recipe! I used a 12oz can of big crescent rolls rather than the 8oz can and it only needed about 22minutes in the oven, and I had to cover it with a sheet of foil for the last 5 minutes since it started to get dark.

It turned out so much than i thought it would, being the little situation i had, i needed 2 cresent roll cans for the size dish i was using, so there was a bit of a delay until i was able to rush to the store and buy another crescent roll sheet. 25 minutes in the oven and waited 5 mins for it to cool down a bit, and then served it. My first bite and i instantly said 'oh i am going to definitely want to make this again' it was so tasty and had a 'i got to have more' kick to it. And i made this Italian Crescent Casserole on my boyfriend's birthday, and i dont cook so he was amazed, he gave me a big hug and said that was good. Our two roommates also loved it, it put them soundly to sleep lol. 5 stars for this wonderful delicious recipe, that i will be making again.

I added onions, garlic, Italian seasoning and sliced olives to the meat mixture. Then when done, I poured pasta sauce over the top (I like my food juicy), and it was AMAZING! Will definitely be making again 😊

Simple. Quick Turned out amazing! You can definitely get creative with your seasonings and cheeses. Its definitely going in my recipe arsonal!

I thought this dish would have been highly received in my house considering the boys love their hot pockets and pizza. The dish is tasty and good, like other reviewers have stated, it takes a lot like pizza.

It's good. There is nothing inherently wrong with it. It tastes very similar to a home made pizza. Very similar in fact, that I would rather just make a pizza instead.
