While this recipe is super easy to make, it lacks flair. Not sure if I missed an ingredient (did not add chili pepper flakes), but the taste was bland and turned out very greasy. The cheese melts too quickly and caused the chicken to stick to the bottom of the dish. Even my husband agreed about the blandness and lack of taste. However, I am just one person. This recipe may turn out perfect for you!

it took longer than 45 mins. it was ok. if there is a next time, i will make it without the skin or do chicken breasts.

We loved it. I had to mix bone-in thighs with boneless breasts so the breasts were a bit over done but still tasty. I only had dry basil so I reduced the amount accordingly but it came out fine. I used a Mexican cheese combination, didn’t have Italian, but again it came out very nicely. We’ll have it again.

Very good dish! The only thing I will change next time is I will season the chicken with something... maybe lemon pepper.
