Finally an Indian dish that tastes close to how it should. Key thoughts: make chicken pieces big enough to separate from the tomatoes and onion at the end before emulsion blending, which does thicken it on its own; add salt; probably needs more tomatoes or paste to be redder as mine was like a mustardy color. Also, it didn’t taste quite right til I added the crushed red pepper, then it was great. Kids raved; wife had thirds!

First I was a bit scared of varity of spices but it turned out great! only I was missing a bit salt in recipe.
Served with basmati rice.

It turned out well but it feels like something is missing. not sure it it's salt or another spice.my family liked it overall though.

Turned out delicious! I ended up not using an instapot and cooked it for about 30 minutes on the stove top. I added salt with the other seasonings and I toasted the seasonings before cooking. I also added an extra tablespoon of tomato paste and substituted curry powder for Garam masala.

Delicious! I see what people are saying about it being runny, but I really liked it anyways! Got 3 meal prep dinners out of it!

this came out so delicious! like others mentioned, it is a little watery even after blending the sauce, but the flavour is definitely there. i added some salt because it felt lacking, though.

Very good! Only change I would make is to add salt and maybe a little bit more butter :)

I thought the sauce would have been thicker. It tasted fine, but I wanted it to be thicker. Any suggestions?

Delicious! I did have to add a little salt but overall very tasty and easy to make

Easy but not a lot of flavor as I was hoping. May alter the spice ratio to bring it up.

It’s pretty good, but the sauce is very watery. I had to sauté and added corn starch to thicken it. I’ll make it again, but I have a feeling it also might be better the next day.

Wonderful! Love the addition of cinnamon. Made it a few times and I toasted the spices to bring out the flavor a bit before adding.

Great recipe, solid tast, chicken really soaks up the flavors, I still prefer makeing this dish stove top, but instant pot less mess, faster.

Bland and the sauce was a little too thin. Added some chili garlic sauce and salt and it was better.

Really delicious! I used bone in drums and thighs. I had no chili powder so I doubled (or tripled?) the red chili flakes. I had fresh turmeric paste frozen in an ice cube tray and used that in this recipe. It was DELICIOUS! The teenager gobbled it up! This is a keeper!

Instead of chicken I used 1/2 cup lentils and an extra 1/2 cup of water. I should’ve put an extra 5 minutes on the pressure cooker to cook the lentils a bit more. Overall great dish!

very bland. the sauce was dull and a bit flavorless even with all the spices.

Absolutely delicious but the preparation time is more like half an hour and allow another half hour for the cooking from start to finish.
