I added red and orange peppers to this. My husband and his friend loved it so much they have been begging me to make it again.

Everyone loves this recipe. I use black rice. Great to serve to company and easy to make.

Everyone loved it!! Even my picky eaters. We added a lot more veggies (green peppers, pineapple, payote squash, etc). It got everyone to eat their veggies. We also subbed pinto beans for black beans and used beef broth instead of chicken. It’s going in our regular rotation. Thanks so much for this great recipe!

I have made this recipe several times and LOVE it!!! The brown rice wasn’t fully cooked so next time I’ll try increasing the time to see if that helps. I never get the burn notice, but I’ve been wondering if the company made a change in the inner pot because I bought my mom a IP a few years after I got mine and she gets the burn message much more often than I do.

Made some slight changes to the ingredient, but turned out amazing! Substituted a 15oz can of diced tomatoes for the salsa, used an extra 1/2 pack of taco seasoning that I had left over, and seasoned the ground beef with a little garlic powder, chili powder and chili flakes as it was cooking.
Just wish the pressure cooker didnt end up to hot and popped up with a burned food error. Maybe it needs some time between the sauté and pressure cooking steps.

Good recipe, with my work schedule it is hard to make meals during the week and this made enough to help get me through the work week without taking too much time or effort

I must admit after the badgering of getting 3 burns messages with this dish it was still surprisingly tasty, even if soupy as I added 2 cups of broth + 1c of water!!!! :0>< I made the mistake of overheating the sautéing but will not give up & will try again! Oh will I ever master the IP?? IDK

Terrific recipe. Followed the recipe except I did add a few extra seasonings. Some of the other reviews thought it was a little bland so I added cumin, chili powder, garlic powder and a little cayenne. I also used rotel instead of salsa because all I had was salsa verde. Oh and I used white rice because I was out of brown. Husband loved it. Will definitely make again.

Great! I used ground turkey and I didn’t drain it after but it was lent much grease anyway. I also only had half a can of salsa available. I also used instant rice. It turned out great!

AMAZING! I thought of a trick for those getting the burn error, maybe don’t drain the corn.. I had no issues and it tasted amazing! I use ninja foodi instead of instant pot and I also used instant rice instead & maybe that helped. Good luck 👍🏼

i have made this recipe three separate times. i always get the burn error and i have to scrape the bottom of the pot before it even comes to pressure. this last time, i skipped the saute function altogether, thinking that was causing it to burn. nope. i ended up having to put the lid on and just let it sit for 15 minutes so the rice would cook. i wanted to like this recipe.

It was pretty good. I felt like it was missing a little more flavor. Other than that it was fast and easy. Great for a busy mom!

It was fast and great I’m looking forward to reheating for my work lunches for the next couple days too!

Absolutely amazing recipe!!! Very easy directions to follow (take it from someone who is pretty intimidated by the insta-pot). I wouldn’t change a thing about the recipe! I can’t wait to make it again!

Absolutely delicious. I added this to a pile of spring mix ans devoured the whole bowl. Can't wait to make it again.

Great! My youngest thought it was too spicy, but everyone else gave it a thumbs up. Perfect instructions!

Easy and really good. I modified it to what we had and what we personally like and we loved it.

Turned out perfect! The whole family enjoyed it! I added some jalapeños to give it a kick but it was perfect

Easy to follow & super yummy!! I added a base of romaine lettuce for kind of a burrito salad bowl. I love cilantro and will add in next time, but very good & easy!!
