Not well. Bland. I rather enjoy making spicy food. This is not something i would recommend. There are pleny other recipes to try. Do skip this one.

To anyone afraid of how watery it is...let it cook down!! Though it probably wouldn’t fool someone raised on butter chicken, it sure hit the spot for my roommate and me. I only used enough cream to make it look like I’m used to seeing it (about a cup); I will probably sub with coconut milk next time to see what that umami dynamic does

It was pretty generic Indian food I wouldn’t call it butter chicken, it had more of a chicken Tikka Masala vibe

My family loved it. This recipe uses a lot of spices but it was easy to make.

Definitely use half the amount of cream. The flavor is perfect

This recipe was delicious. I did make two modifications - I used roasted chicken I already had, and I used coconut milk for half the cream. A bonus was I made the tomato sauce from scratch with the last of our garden’s tomatoes.

Oh dear...that is way too much cream. Indian dishes don't really use that much cream in them. Use yogurt and this amount only needs about 1/2 cup yogurt.

Was a little too creamy for our taste, but bang on for the flavor. Will use less tomato sauce and a little less cream, add some tomato paste to fine tune next time. Part of our family rotation now...

Flavorful. I used whole milk yogurt and half and half. The spices are perfect!

Add some curry to spice it up.

It’s a bit too creamy with the 2 cups of cream. Still tasted great, but I may cut it back to 1 cup next time, and there will be a next time!!

It turned out great. After looking at some of the reviews I did a little tweaking; I added 1 tsp of turmeric, rough blended canned fire roasted tomatoes and used them as the tomato sauce , also instead of 2 cups cream I did 1 cup cream and 1 cup plain Greek yogurt and added it at the end of cooking. My husband is now a huge fan of this recipe.
Awesome recipe, it was a hit with my family

I put less cream and slightly less butter as I felt there was enough sauce already but it was still amazing on my list to have again
