Great soup. I've made this twice now. i use three eggs instead of two as is adds thickness.

Our new favorite quick and easy recipe. Decreased ginger, but kicked in more vinegar and chil sauce.

It was amazing for the first time cooking it. I cooked the vegetables first then added the chicken broth & diluted with water. Then l followed the rest of the instructions. I’m so glad l found this recipe because my mom always makes it for the family.

First attempt at hot & sour soup was success! Added double the chili sauce, left out bamboo shoots, added carrots for crunch. Oh and I prefer to sauté mushrooms and tofu separately to give a little more texture then add to soup at the end. Will enjoy leftovers for lunch and make this regularly.

Great! We didn’t end up putting bamboo shoots in (because we forgot to pick some up) and we also added our favorite chinkiang vinegar to the ingredient list and it was spot on! Will make again and again! The bamboo shoots (I’m guessing) and the mushrooms make for a great texture.

I used pork, tofu, bamboo shoots, green onions, shiitake mushrooms and bean sprouts. Doubled the vinegar, used close to a tbsp of chili garlic sauce, and white pepper. Turned out great! I think next time, I’ll add a julienned carrot or two, thin rice noodles and maybe fresh chili peppers. Definitely easy and a keeper!!

This is the first time I ever made hot and sour soup at home and I'm pleased with the results. I didn't have garlic chili sauce so just used sriracha and fresh minced garlic. I saw another recipe used fresh spinach so I added a big handful. I added a few drop of Frank's Red Hot Sauce into my bowl before consuming. My husband said it tasted great!
