Great after personal modifications! -1/4 cup brown sugar instead of molasses - 1 Tbs Dijon Mustard - 1 Tbs Dry Mustard Enjoy!!! If you enjoy a dipping BBQ Sauce for a brisket sandwich I recommend pulling a half cup or cup prior to reducing to a thick sauce. It is Absolutely Amazing!!!😋

I add 1 cup of brown sugar and more honey to make it sweet.

My husband and i use this recipe all the time as a jumping off point - and then play around with flavoured liquid smoke, different sweeteners, ketchup in place of paste, even rum! It’s a fantastic recipe! The first time we followed it to the letter, and that was great too, but we really love getting creative with it.

Made this BBQ Sauce following the recipe. It was pretty tangy for us so I tamed the tang with 1/4 cup brown sugar.

Very good and super ez to make. I decreased liquid smoke a little. Out of Cayanne pepper so I used ground pepper flakes. Very easy to adjust the recipe and turns out delicious every time!
