It was great however I would make a slurry with butter and xanthan gum to thicken up the Alfredo sauce personally it’s my go to because of its thickening properties

So hard to find a good Alfredo recipe, I really loved this one. I did add a bit but it’s amazing on its own. I added some fresh garlic, some fresh :basil, parsley, thyme & dill a little bit of olive oil, and I used a tad bit less milk. Also I blended my Parmesan so it was finely cut. I did boil it a lot longer than written so the Parmesan would be blended in (no gritty mouth feel from unmelted Parmesan)

I made this and it was thinner than heavy whipping cream. The flavors were there but the thickness wasn’t. I tried it again and took out half a cup of milk, still too thin. I added a half cup of sour cream and 1.5 teaspoons of corn starch and it’s barely the thickness of the jarred Alfredo you get at the store. I’ll give this recipe one more shot but I’m only going to use less than half the recommended milk.

This sauce is the perfect mix of Rich and flavorful but not too rich. I have made this several times adding some personal touches.

Mannnnnn listen, this was one of the best alfredo sauces I have ever made. The portion to my box of alfredo was enough to really sauce all the way through the noodles. Along w/spinach and chicken. I also added 1/2 teaspoon of salt and white pepper. My new go-to!

Really good! Great flavour! Added just a touch of corn starch to thicken it a bit, but beautiful!

Good. i would adjust the cream cheese next time and add more fresh garlic! Needed something else too, maybe peas or prosciutto...

It was only good if it was piping hot. Otherwise if you let it sit for even a second all you taste is cream cheese. And I am very positive I followed every instruction to the letter.

Easy great Alfredo. My daughter is very picky and she loves this recipe! I used the “italian blend” of cheese and minced garlic instead of powdered, and half and half instead of milk, and extra sour cream and extra butter...and added Cajun chicken breast thinly sliced…This recipe is now a staple meal at our house 😂 #buttermakeseverythingbetter

This is so so fantastic!! I’m writing this as I’m eating a bowl of fettuccine with this sauce and I’m beyond obsessed! 10/10 try making this :)

This alfredo is the BEST. Way better than any canned alfredo and super easy to make!
