REALLY good, husband loved it. Used 1lb hamburger, 1 1/2 lbs meatballs just because I had them. Swapped out canned tomatoes for same amount garden tomatoes. Chicken stock for water, some beef bouillon cubes and a bit of brown sugar. Garden tomatoes were a bit acidic. Rest as is, this is a keeper.

I used V8 Vegetable juice in place of the water and added large can of the chunky Veg-All vegetables; undrained.

Added potatoes and only had chicken broth on hand, turned out amazing!! Hearty, cozy soup. Great for a cold rainy day.

Soup turn out great added squash and zucchini to it. Ground sausages and chunks of beef to the soup it had add more flavor. It is a delicious recipe and will be cooking this throughout the fall and winter season..

Very good taste. Used beef broth and Bloody Mary mix for the base instead of water. Easy to make and froze leftovers

Really good. I also use beef broth rather than water and added a few more vegetables. I also added a little bit of red wine and cumin. It has a really good flavor.

Great. Will definitely make it again. I did add a cup of beef broth in place of a cup of water.

I used stew meat instead of hamburger, since I had it in the freezer. I also didn't have crushed tomatoes, but had 2 cans of fire roasted diced tomatoes with garlic and used them. I also used beef bullion instead of water and added 3 diced potatoes. it was great! Will definitely make again!

I doctored this up a bit. Usually when I see a soup or stew recipe that calls for this much water instead of stock or broth, I try to use the latter instead. So, I used one can of beef broth and a liter of Bloody Mary mix. I also added a can of cut green beans and some beef paste. It turned out GREAT! Very rich and flavorful. I sprinkled some Pecorino Romano cheese on top when I served it and it was even better.

Great soup, very hearty! It seemed just a bit too thick for my taste, so I added some extra water. I will definitely make this again.

This was a great winter soup. Easy to make, had my girls do all the prep. I think I’m going to can this to take camping

This soup was awesome. It has a lot of flavor and one of the best vegetable soup I've made. I wouldn't change a thing.

Soooo yummy and satisfying. You really wouldn't know it was healthy by just tasting. Be sure to add enough salt to your taste.
