Loved this recipe. Simple and easy to make without a millón ingredients. The taste is gingery and nutmeg warmth. This is my go to gingerbread cookie.

The dough turned out crumbly and was unable to stick together enough to press down to 1/4 inch thick. Would recommend using 2 1/2 cups of flour to start and a highly floured surface. for rolling prior to chilling.

Best gingerbread cookies I've ever had. Soft, perfect balance of flavours, and easy to make.

These were really good! The only problem was that I accidentally used GLUTEN FREE flour instead of REGULAR flour, and it gave the dough a weird flavor. After they were baked, they tasted great! Even my dad, who does not particularly enjoy foods with molasses liked them! (He’s VERY picky)
