Awesome. I added some tumeric, red chili powder and green chili. I make this recipe
Every week.

I found these really dry and bland. You definitely need to add some lemon juice or some other form of moisture and double the spices. They also crumbled very easily. Not bad, but the recipe definitely needs some tweaking.

It was super easy to make, I used a blender and just pulsed until it got super creamy. It also tasted super yummy!

This was super tasty, thanks so much for sharing! It was one of the best falafel I have ever had. I cooked a minor variation of this recipe because I didn't have all the ingredients at hand, namely substituted cayenne pepper with chili powder. I also used a gluten-free flour I made myself out of various other flours (e.g. rice, tapioca, chia seeds) instead of normal plain flour. Fried them as directed, in 3-4 cm of vegetable oil.

Turned out pretty good! Deep frying resulting in a much better texture than air frying. I also increased the garlic and the seasoning as suggested in multiple comments.

This is my 2nd time using this recipe and both times it came out perfectly This time I doubled up on the seasonings and chickpea flour, added tahini and lemon juice all recommended by someone else in Yummly. Simply delicious!

We all loved it. The only reason that I gave four stars is that it's too crunchy inside and out. I preferred it to be a little bit moist inside.

Delicious! Tasted as good/better than our local takeout. Definitely make sure the oil is the right temp and use dry chickpeas rather than canned.

My balls wouldn’t stick together, but that was probably me doing something wrong. My whole family loved them, but agree the flavor was a little bland. :)

Great recipe however I added double parsley, garlic, and double spices. amazing

I added a lot more spices to achieve the taste I wanted and I used my Air-Fryer! Which works perfectly! I used lemon zest, lemon juice, 2 tbsp of tahini, 8 cloves garlic, doubled the cumin, doubled the coriander, and the salt and pepper- we loved them!

Looking forward to trying this recipe. For 20+ years I've been using a prepackaged mix from a Middle Eastern market I love. I would, hover, like to tell Stefanie Ricci that there is a vast difference between ground coriander (ground dry seeds) and fresh coriander (cilantro leaves).

Great flavour, they didn’t fall apart when I tried them like some other reviews mentioned I didn’t add ground coriander as I had fresh and used half the cayenne as suggested and they still had bite! Must have been all the garlic. Made enough for dinner plus leftovers and I can even freeze some .

Ever since we moved I have been looking for a falafel recipe to replace the falafel sandwichs we used to get from Woody's Oasis. These are so good. Crispy outside with a yummy garlicky inside. Made sandwiches with regular fixings and pickled turnips just like I remembered. Didn't find a turnip recipe on this site so used David Lebowitz's recipe.

Despite it being a bit chunkier than necessary (I don't have a food processor so it was a blender and a masher), they were great!! I used only 1 tsp of baking soda but it helped with the heavier texture. My kids had never had falafels before and even my picky eater gobbled down his share of 'chickpea doughnuts' while my oldest was dreaming up all sorts of ways to eat the leftovers (in pitas, subs, plain, with tomato sauce like meatballs) - he was disappointed that there weren't any left!!! Next time!

Good, but I personally like it with more flavor. I will add more spices next time

Delicious! I cooked them on a griddle instead of frying them. Definitely will use this recipe again.

Super! The falafels held together really well I did use chickpea flour instead of all purpose and an ice cream scoop to scoop and pack it together. Would absolutely make these again and maybe just alter the fixins to go with a little bit. Great recipe who knew it as so easy!
