Didn't have chocolate chips, subbed w walnuts, orange. Didn't have sour cream, subbed w homemade buttermilk. Didn't have muffin tins, subbed w cake pan. Tasted delicious😋

Tastes great, amd super simple to make for a novice baker like myself. Minus 1 star due to consistency in videos is much thicker than how mine looked despite exact ingredients used. Made me think I was doing something incorrect. All in all, do NOT heistate to try this recipe.

I haven’t yet, but I know a good recipe when I see it. Seems a few comments mentioned ‘needing something’ One thing I always recommend with chocolate recipes is addition of coffee, mainly finely ground instant or espresso granules on baked goods, or brewed coffee in chili, I add cocoa to it as well.

These muffins were missing something and were a little dry after they cooled off.
I'm not sure if they needed more salt or sugar or what for the flavor? The chocolate level was spot on, but they were dry and I definitely didn't overbake them. I will be looking for another choc muffin recipe as this wasn't "the one".

Very good and easy to make! I added extra chocolate chips, the pockets of melted chocolate inside is what truly makes these tasty!

turned out amazing! I used coconut sugar & cane sugar to make it healthy, as well as whole wheat flour and subbed sour cream for 6% yogurt. I also added 1c of rolled oats, which I put in a bowl and soaked with milk before adding them to the rest of the ingredients. And I added a bit more sugar than the recipe called for to compensate for the extra ingredients

Awesome recipe, i didn't have sour cream so i just use and extra 1/4 cup of milk. i also added nutella into a few of them and they were excellent.

These double chocolate muffins are the best muffins I’ve had but I’d say they make more than 12 probably about 18. I’ve made them 3 times and every time they come out perfect! They’re a really good thing to make for breakfast and throughout the day

Super simple to make with a not too sweet chocolate taste. Great for a chocolate fix!

Wonderfully moist, great chocolate flavor. I substituted sour cream with heavy cream and butter. I also added white chocolate chips. All my guys loved them!
Thanks.

They were amazing, but could’ve been chocolatier. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any sour cream, but (I think) it didn’t affect the taste. Would probably make again, but a bit dry.

Amazing! I had almost everything around the house except chocolate chips and baking soda. I substituted the chocolate chips for butterscotch chips and 1 tsp of baking soda for 3 tsp of baking powder. My batch actually made around 17 muffins which I don't mind at all. More for me! I'll probably try these again when I have the two missing ingredients as well. Thanks!

Worked out well. I used a jumbo cupcake pan. Used the recipe to make 6 instead of 12. had to adjust cooking time to 25-30 min at 375.
