- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Spray a 9-inch square baking dish liberally with nonstick cooking spray.
- Peel the sweet potatoes and slice uniformly about 1/8-inch thick. Arrange the slices in the pan in rows, slightly overlapping one another. Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the sweet potatoes.

I made this for the first time last night. It is delicious but I did make some minor changes. I added ricotta and cinnamon to the heavy cream. I didn’t have both cheeses so I topped with parm and mozzarella and it was great. My husband LOVED it.

I baked it a little longer to get the potatoes soft even though I sliced them really thin. I love the flavors, so good!

The flavors just didnt seem to come through so i either needed more nutmeg or maybe more salt to bring it out.

nice recipe, i didn't chop my potatoes thin enough so i probably should have cooked it longer, but still loved it

Soooo yummy!! I don't know what Gruyere cheese is or where I can find it but I used Cotji cheese and whole family loves them!
