This was the easiest bread I have ever made and it turned out so beautifully and absolutely delicious! It will be my go to recipe for French bread!

Excellent! Try stuffing it with pesto and mozzy cheese before you roll it. Comes out amazing

not very well, followed recipe to exactly. funny almost exactly the same recipe Wolfe Gang Puck uses for his pizza minus egg wash. everything was great, yeast alive, flour sifted, went through 4 rising fermintations of 1 hour, 2 hour, 45 min and 45 min. dough double in size each time with nice beer smell. when rolled out in baggette shape allowed to proof one more time, wash with egg, 400f for 20 min, sprayed with water at 20 mins. crust is great but the crumb is very dense and not lighr like a french baggette. if any suggestions please comment

Came out great! My dough was really sticky initially, so I ended up needing more like 5 1/2 cups of flour, but everything else went great.

Very easy to follow directions. I let it rise the first time for 90 minutes and an hour for the second. Also added 10 minutes to the bake time, wasn’t quite dark enough. Delicious!

This has become a go to recipe at my house. I usually half the recipe for 1 loaf.

It's delicious. However, it did not rise up that much the second time. Ended up being more flat than I wanted.
