Really nice! Even my brother who seems to live on a diet consisting solely of pizza was asking for seconds, the whole family liked it :)
The only criticisms they had were that:
1. We used plain white rice and, while filling, it was a bit too plain. Next time we're going to try a recipe for flavoured rice that would go well with the sweet chicken, or we'll make extra sauce to mix in with the rice.
2. Some of them wanted smaller chicken pieces next time since the smallest were the ones that cooked the crispiest, this is mostly down to personal preference though.
The only major change we made was switching out the sweet chilli sauce for teriyaki sauce since none of us can handle spice lol, it worked really well and made for a very sweet, slightly salty, very delicous meal.

this turned out amazing! I made it for the first te last night for my boyfriend and I and he was over the he loved it so much that he wants to know when I'm making it again. I doubled the sauce recipe when making it for extra sauce for the rice!

Amazing! I just had to adjust the amount for the flour mix and sauce. I guess the 3 chicken breasts I used where to big 😁..
But the recipe is delicious everyone loved it at home. Definitely making it again! Thank you 💗

Delicious - the chicken has a nice bite to it and the sauce packs a flavourful punch

Looked forward to trying this dish and it did not disappoint. Instead of chicken breasts I did use chicken thighs which is my personal preference. I did make extra sauce as I like to mix in the rice too. Very tasty and easy to do yet messy but worth it. Better than take away truly. I didn’t have any sesame seeds just spring onion to scatter over top but the sesame seed oil more than compensates for that. Clean plates all round once again. Thank you. I would definitely recommend this dish.

This has become our go to Chinese dinner for during the week. My wife loves it!

Did the thing where you didn’t toss the whole batch in with the sauce and in stead served it on the side for a drizzle on top or to be dipped. Chicken stayed crunchy, would make again.

First of all, this dish is hiiiiighly underrated! This is freaking AWESOME! It will definitely be a regular in my home for sure. Tips!
1. Lightly season the chicken and also the flour for more flavor.
2. Sauce - Double the measurements to get adequate or extra sauce EXCEPT for the Soy. That’s salty and can overpower everything.
3. Do cook the chicken in two batches so as not to overcrowd you’re wok.
4. Dont over cook the chicken. Remeber, food continues to cook from the heat even after it’s removed from the stove. Cut a few pieces first to see if they’re white then you’re good to remove them from the wok.
5. Feel free to substitue chilli sauce for a sweet teriyaki
6. Enjoy :)

First time making Asian food from scratch. It turned out delicious! I was so surprised it turned out as good as it did! Highly recommend doubling the sauce though: that way you can add some to the rice as well.

Added an extra tablespoon of soy and white wine vinegar as well as one less of tomato ketchup and brown sugar...we like it spicy so added 2 red chillies and turned out amazing!

This was really quite easy to make and a tasty treat! I reduced the ketchup to 1T and added an extra T of soy and a t of ginger paste. Yes, it’s definitely on the sweet side but I think that could be easily remedied (if you want) with some minor modifications of the sugar and honey. Overall, quite delicious!
