I've made this recipe several times and I must say it's the easiest and makes the most delicious crab cakes ever. I sometimes just pat them out and freeze for a later date (they still are delicious). You really can't go wrong. I do use Panko for my breadcrumbs. Doesn't get any easier then this recipe.

I made this tonight actually. I’m so happy with the result but I did make a few modifications as I went. I used 2 eggs, and about 1 tbsp extra mayo and a little extra lemon juice and 1/4 cup extra of breadcrumbs, and then added fresh dill and green onion. So easy and so delicious!! And even though the recipe says it makes 4 I ended up with 9!?

Tasty. Did not have seafood spices so I looked up what makes up most seafood spices and added those. Will make again.

very delicious. I substituted miracle whip for mayonnaise since that was all we had....it gave it a nice slightly tangy taste. it didnt stick together like i would have liked but thats probably because i didnt let it sit long enough.

Classic crab cake was pretty good but I might omit the planko and add another egg for binding.

It turned out great! I baked the cakes and broiled them for a few minutes.

They were ok but not crispy enough...

Easy to make and super delicious! Family has requested already! No substitutions needed! (Made one batch with the original recipe and one modified - extra egg and one less spoon of mayo; both still yummy but original won!) Did use light mayo instead of regular.
