    I LOVED this recipe!!!!! I will definitely be making this again. It was moist and the flavors were just right. I personally put ice cream and chocolate syrup on top and it was AMAZING.

    It turned out dry....,maybe I baked it too long? Tasted delicious, probably my fault it was dry. Very upset

    it turns out alright for second time trying this recipe. For my personal taste i would prefer less sugar but it does taste lovely. i made some mistakes still with the sour cream - not very creamy this time so i would give another try third time. Hopefully it will be even better than this time!!!

    Amazing classic coffee cake! Exactly what I wanted. I also did 2 cups sugar instead of the extra 1/4 cup and it was sweet enough. Very tastey and fluffy!

    Follow all instruction except only use 2 cup of sugar for the cake. It came out super moist and the perfect sweetness.

    My roommates and I love this cake! I made it with all the specified ingredients at the correct temperatures, but I did have two qualms- one, the topping made with room temp butter basically turns into a mush. I'll try it with cold butter next time as I had to add a ton of extra flour to get it to crumble. Secondly, I was appalled at the amount of sugar in the batter itself- and reduced it by 100 grams. I find mine to be perfectly sweet without the extra, and will make it this way again next time.

    I had high hopes but this was not tasty at all. Too sugary. The crumble on top was nasty tasting. The inside was OK but a bit chalky tasting.

    I made this with 3 substitutes of dairy ingredients. I replaced whole milk and cream with almond milk, but taken down by 1/4 cup. I also used egg substitute. It came out amazing! So moist and so perfect! I was pleasantly surprised.

    The coffee cake turns out to be surprisingly delicious! I am blown away by how moist & scrumptious it is! I followed the recipe & directions precisely, & it turns out perfect. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

    Super easy and tastey! I had to add an extra 15 mins to my cook time, could be because of the type of pan I used (aluminum recyclable "aka disposable"), but it has been a hit with my family each time. The first time I made it, I hand mixed the cake batter. The second time I made it, I used my mixer. Both times it came out great.

    Easy. I halved and added pecans to the cinnamon sugar layer. I didn’t use my mixer, hand mixed and turned out great.

    I’d forgotten how much I love coffee cake and can really regard it as my top favorite cake. I had made a bunch of other recipes before this one and they all missed the mark, except this one. This particular coffee cake recipe is absolutely perfect in every way. This is a super soft and moist cake with a prefect crumble on top and amazing flavor. This is what coffee cake should be. I'll forever be returning to this recipe. Thank you to whomever it was for putting this recipe together and for sharing it with us. This is the cake I'm asking for on my next birthday, even though I'll be making it again before then.

    I made this in my 8x8 pan by halving the recipe and adjusting the cooking time. It came out so delicious and is such a versatile piece. I would be curious to see how much easier it may be to add the batter on top of the cinnamon sugar layer by piping it in - I will definitely try this the next time I make this recipe.
