Make this the night before, refrigerate, and reheat the next evening. This is one of those recipes that tastes better the next day as flavors develop. I might add more beans.

Simple, easy and delicious. We used black beans and 80/20 ground beef (drained after browning) but threw it together in no time and it tasted great. Freezes well and is even better the second time.

definitely a good base for a chili. i would definitely recommend adding more spices. if you like heat add some peppers because its a very mild chili other wise. i made this with 2lbs of geound meat and added roasted pablanos and a couple tabascos. yurned out pretty good.
