  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 lb. ground turkey (lean)
  • 2 green bell peppers (diced)
  • 2 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 Tbsp. natural cocoa (unsweetened)
  • 2 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. ground cumin (ground)
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano (dried optional)
  • 1 tsp. ground cinnamon (ground)
  • 1/2 tsp. ground allspice (ground)
  • 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper (freshly ground)
  • 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
  • 15 oz. salt (added tomato sauce)
  • 15 oz. no-salt-added diced tomatoes (no-salt-added diced with their juices)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp. molasses (unsulfured)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 8 oz. spaghetti (preferably whole-grain, cooked according to package directions)
  • 1 cup kidney beans (canned, preferably low-sodium, drained and rinsed)
  • 1/4 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese (extra sharp grated, lightly packed)
  • 4 tsp. diced red onion (diced finely)

    I didn’t have all the ingredients so it came close to Cincinnati chili but it exact. Need to try again with all the ingredients!

    really good! i put the beans in while it cooked and used tortilla chips instead of noodles

    Different chili than normal, so nice for a change. Not my favourite chili though. Didnt put p beans on top, only red onion and cheese. The raw red onion was lovely in it, nice taste and bite. Served it with corn bread.

    Yummy! This recipe was a bit spicier than I'm used to, but was delicious! I didn't need all that spaghetti
