I spent a lot of time on this dessert, so I was very disappointed when it turned into a dumpster fire. The soufflé not only didn’t poof, it never solidified—it was a soupy mess. I even put one back in for another 5 minutes, and although the top finally rose it was still very wet in the center. (This is not my first soufflé, so I had somewhat of an idea about how this should go. I’m perplexed and will check my oven temp to make sure that’s not the issue.) The Anglaise sauce was not a hit at my place either FWIW. Next time I’ll try Chef John’s recipe at AllRecipe.com

First time making and eating a soufflé. Turned out great a little too chocolately but I would make it again but with a blend of milk chocolate and semi sweet
